If you want to start using AI but feel behind, you're not!
These are the 3 videos I'd actually send a beginner, in the order I'd watch them.
1. 99% of Beginners Don't Know the Basics of AI
Jeff Su · 10:12
Start here. In about ten minutes, Jeff Su explains what's actually happening when you talk to an AI tool: the different types of AI, how prompting works, and the basics of zero-shot, few-shot, and chain-of-thought prompting. Every concept comes with an example you'll actually use, and nothing is left as jargon. With over 3 million views, it's the intro most people start with for a reason.
2. You're Not Behind (Yet): How to Learn AI in 29 Minutes
Futurepedia · 29:00
Once the basics click, this is the full roadmap. Futurepedia breaks learning AI into three paths (Explorer, Power User, and Builder) so you can decide how deep you want to go, then walks through the most useful tools across text, image, video, audio, and research. It also covers the skills that don't go out of date: prompting, tool literacy, workflow thinking, and creative remixing. It's longer at 29 minutes, but it's the closest thing to a complete beginner's map.
3. You're not behind (yet): How to learn AI in 18 minutes
Dan Martell · 17:49
This one is about putting AI to work. Dan Martell comes at it from a business and productivity angle, so it lands best once you understand the tools and want to build them into how you actually get things done. A solid follow-up for the "okay, now what do I do with this" question.
All 3 together run under an hour. Watch them in order and you'll walk away with a real foundation, not just a list of tools you've heard of!
